The wide ENGEL-Servo-Motor range consists of 8 series. Each series has been appointed to several motor lengths referring to the individual motor capacity. On demand our servo motors can be fitted with safety brakes.
High expectations referring to speed-accuracy and controlling-dynamics require the attachment of a dc tacho generator and/or incremental encoder, e.g. at application of positioning controls.
In standard the dc-tachometers do have a voltage-constant of 5 resp. 14 mV / rpm. The incremental encoders have a supply-voltage of 5 or 24 VDC, 2 signal and 1 reference channel and are available with max. 3,600 impulses.
Servo motors can also be supplied accordind to customerīs specification.

D.C. Servo-geared Motors with Permanent-Magnet Field
- with planetary gears
6 different planetary gears have been adjusted to the servo motors series GNM 21 to GNM 54. The gears are a solid construction. Output shaft of gear, expect gear G5, is fitted with ball bearings, majority of planet wheels is fitted with roller bearings. Peak torque up to 130 Nm max. ENGEL Planetary Gears are applicable whenever high torque but small dimensions are required. Long-life grease lubrication.

Our standard range includes servo motors with worm gear. The single-stage worm gears which are adjusted to the motors are fitted with ball bearings, run silently and are not self-locked. The mounting is provided by threads in the gear base, partly also in the flange. Long-life grease lubrication.
